Asia Cosplay Meet – The Aftermath (Sieglark’s story)

Posted on June 28th, 2010 by The Mistress

One day after Asia Cosplay Meet, and I can still feel the hype and the excitement it bore through my spine. The 37 contestants gave their all in acting and entertaining the audience and the judges. What’s more surprising was the arrival of a judge from Japan, more specifically a programmer from Square Enix! I resisted the urge to scream “TAKE ME WITH YOU!!!!”

-coughcough- Moving on, watch out tonight for the videos of the cosplay competition, the awarding and the press conference. More details of the Asia Cosplay Meet will be updated there.

To get things up to speed:
We would like to congratulate the three winners:
Riyo Lendl L. Enriquez (as Sol Badguy from Guilty Gear 2 Overture)
Jia Gold M. Bustamante (as KOS-MOS from Xenosaga), and
Lyron Decy Cueto Aquino (as Edge Maverick from Star Ocean 4: The Last Hope)

Their cosplay outfit and performance were simply outstanding, deserving of the prestige and recognition that the Asia Cosplay Meet (and Singapore Cosplay Club) would award. The winners will be going to Singapore to represent the Philippines for the international leg of the competition.

Watch out for more updates, photos, videos and other articles about the Asia Cosplay Meet!

God those videos are damn too hard to edit in an old laptop. Why did they have to remove Firewire from the newer PCs anyway? >.
