Konami has posted the introduction sequence for the upcoming Zone of the Enders HD Edition on Youtube.
Sunrise is at the helm of the animation, combining classic art elements and amazing mecha CG sequences, akin to their more recent Gundam incarnations like Unicorn and 00.
Zone of the Enders HD Edition includes the two classic mecha games: Zone of the Enders, and Zone of the Enders: 2nd Runner Special Edition (also known in Japan as Anubis: Zone of the Enders Special Edition). The HD Edition retains its classic soundtrack, including its theme song, Beyond the Bounds, as played in this intro sequence.
Zone of the Enders HD Edition will be released for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 25 in Japan, with a PS Vita port coming thereafter.
