It is with a heavy heart that we bring this news to everyone. Satoru Iwata, President of Nintendo Co., Ltd. has passed away on July 11, 2015 due to a bile duct growth.
This was according to a corporate press release from the Nintendo JP website.
It can be recalled that he missed E3 2015 to undergo surgery for a bile duct tumor.
He was 55.
