Hey there. Momo here again to bring you a special report for this year’s Anime Festival Asia 2011, held at the Suntec Convention Centre in Singapore last November 11-13, 2011!

Last November 26, Toei Animation Philippines Inc. (TAPI) celebrated their 25th anniversary with their TOEInty-Five event at Eastwood City. Hit the jump to read more about it.

His name is Miki Yo, a mangaka who found his way here in Baguio to study English. And in this short time he had found the right place to find other manga enthusiasts in this humble city up in the mountains. Anime fans, manga fans and artists and doodlers alike crowded the store to learn more about how to draw manga characters.

Literally translated as “The Tale of AME,” this year’s theme involves Japanese myths and folklores, from the tengu, to the kappa, to the yuki-onna, up to the Amaterasu and Susano’o.

Otakultura, together with Waku Waku, Hatah Hatah, My Little Prince Shop, LevelUp! Games’ Grand Chase Philippines, and Animax Philippines, has organized a big game suited for “The Tale of AME.”

The first few seconds of the upcoming “Gyakuten Saiban” (Ace Attorney) film have been revealed in the All Entertainment Quiz segment of Sokai Joho Variety Sukkin television series.

Around 2010, Sunrise announced that there will be a third season of one of the most favorite anime of that time, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. Many speculations that the story will be based on the currently on-going manga, Code Geass: Shikkoku no Renya. However it’s already late 2011 and I’m already losing hope.
