Durarara 3way Standoff Release Date Announced

Durarara will feature a new game coming for the PSP. Enjoy the story of Durarara and explore Ikebukuro imagined and viewed as one of the townsfolk in a new story by the author herself, Ryohgo Narita. The works as a choose your own path Visual Novel styled gameplay where the places and people you interact with is purely up to you in a big sandbox type progression. Meet with characters drawn by Studio Brain’s Base and get jobs done, tasked by key characters from the show, as you work your own way and build up your own street cred and possibly the root to the city’s problems.

Play style resembles the Persona series wherein choice of locations are limited per day and very varied depending on circumstances and other cleared events to access “Friendship Events” in the game.

You play as Yoshimune Miyoshi (Yoshi Yoshi as an alias), a recent transfer student because of his father’s work. You attend Raira High School in the same class as Sunohara Anri and Ryugamine Mikado and get to know his childhood friend Kida Masaomi. You begin to unravel the varied culture in Ikebukuro and discover the colorless “Dollars” net group, the colored gang “Gold Bandanas”, and then the mysterious new “Slashers” group. The three factions infest and damage the city as their rivalry increases. Then one day, Yoshi Yoshi came upon some rumors that the Headless Rider, who is supposedly part of the Dollars, attacked the Yellow Bandanas, heard of it?
