Fatal Frame Manga Gets English Release

DeNA’s Manga Box application for smartphones and tablets included the manga Fatal Frame: Shadow Priestess on Tuesday. The manga is written by Seimaru Amagi author of Kindaichi Case Files and Detective School Q.  He also serves as the editor-in-chief of DeNA’s Manga Box application.

According to Manga Box, the story revolves around a college student named Sara Washizuki who was shown a mysterious photograph by a paranormal photographer known as Tousei Ryuuzaki. In that photograph was something she left sealed away along with her memory about an incident that happened during her days in elementary school.

Fatal Frame (also known as Project Zero or Zero in Europe) was first released as a survival horror game for the Playstation 2 in 2001 by  Tecmo Games. It was then followed by multiple sequels and remakes on different platforms.
