Okay, I’ll have to warn everyone of SPOILER ALERT if you haven’t read the later parts of Hunter x Hunter’s Chimera Ant arc, or if you haven’t seen the recent episodes. So, if you haven’t, then please shy away from the screen. Thank you.
Shortly after HunterxHunter’s most awesome episode yet, Premium Bandai revealed the latest in their lineup: Gon’s age-accelerated form, complete with an insanely tall hairdo.
We’re not kidding when we say his hair is insanely tall
The figure stands at 430mm or nearly 17 inches, including the skyscraping hairdo. The hair itself is segmented into four interconnecting pieces (with the fourth one originating from Gon’s head). Gon’s hair alone is estimated to be at 300mm or roughly 11 inches, leaving Gon standing at less than half the hair’s height (6 inches roughly). Still, it doesn’t skimp on detail. Gon’s older form certainly shows an insanely-ripped musculature, and his face presents that blank rage similar to that brutal anime episode.

The figure is priced at JPY3178 or a measly USD31.00, quite cheap for an awesome figure like this. It’s up for preorder exclusively at the Premium Bandai site until July 31, 2014.
Gon’s shocking transformation comes during his battle against Neferpitou. Having been deceived by Pitou regarding Kite’s state, Gon fills up with rage and transforms into an older version of himself, apparently strong enough to fatally wound Neferpitou.
