Ozine Fest: Encore’s Super Secret Special Guest

In the previous I Ai Anime event, Chylle and I got together with a friend and fellow blogger Vincent Haoson (Otaku ako), and managed to talk to an organizer of the event. She was inviting us to go to Ozine Fest: Encore to be held this October 1 -3, 2010. She also mentioned about the event’s very special guest. There was no mention of any name, but a fairly distinguishable hint was dropped: a seiyuu. This intrigued us more, and urged us to really see what’s in store for the encore.

I was visiting Otaku Ako site, when this post really caught my attention.

You’ve seen haoson’s post about it here. Today, the folks of I Ai Anime re-announced the same thing on stage, for the benefit of thos who weren’t there on day one. They also did give out a few hints as to who this mystery guest might be. After thinking about all the hints given, I have concluded that all evidences point to the mystery guest being…

Now, let’s give it a bit of background. It was already pretty much established that this mystery guest from Japan would be a voice actor or actress. He / she would be giving a bit of tips on voice acting as well as perform on stage. This means that this guest would probably be an idol / seiyuu, as she would have to do both voice acting and singing.

Also consider the fact that people of Otaku-zine are not revealing the name yet. This would mean that she would not be just some minor celebrity. Chances are, she’s a big-time celebrity, and that’s why all these fuss would make sense.

Oh and they mentioned that they’ve written two hints in the Jail Booth. I’ve taken a look at what I can read from the doodles there, and I’ve found this interesting bit of written conversation…

Ozine Fest Encore starts here -> Si Aya daw guest? -> Sinong Aya? Aya Hirano? -> Sinong Aya sa tingin mo? Aya Natsume?

Or at least something like that. There’s also a text that read “God Knows” written there.

So yeah, I’d say all evidences point to the guest being Aya Hirano. Imagine how the crowd will go wild if she performs God Knows…

Of course, those evidences might just be all traps, but speculation is fun nonetheless.

Now for those who don’t know Aya Hirano, she is the seiyuu of famous anime characters such as Haruhi Suzumiya of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Amane Misa of Deathnote, Konata Izumi of Lucky Star, Lucy Heartfilia of Fairy Tail and Katja of Seikon no Qwaser.

Well its still a rumor though according to Haoson’s latest update, but the “Aya Hirano Guesting” is already 70% confirmed, with an accompanying band. It already exceeded the 50% possibility mark, so it’s something worth expecting.

Personally, I’m not a big Aya Hirano fan, but I really love her songs such as God Knows, Lost my Music and Hare Hare Yukai (seriously, if you’re an anime fan, who wouldn’t know that song? -dances-).
