Cooking manga, Hana no Zubora Meshi 「花のズボラ飯」, has been greenlit for a nightly live-action TV drama. The show will be aired on MBS and TBS midnights starting October 2012.
The live-action adaptation is said to have 10 episodes, half an hour each, and will be directed by Yuasa Noriko and Fukasako Yasuyuki. Oukura and Kitakawa Ayako will be in charge of the script. Details of the cast have not been divulged to date.
Synopsis according to ANN:
The manga shorts follow the everyday life of a “cute” yet sometimes lonely wife named Hana, and the meals she cooks for herself while her husband is away on a distant assignment.
Hana no Zubora Meshi is created by Kusumi Masayuki and Mizusawa Etsuko. The shorts were first published in Akita Shoten’s Elegance Eve last 2009. It has then released 2 volumes with over 500,000 copies sold.
