Jul 24, 2012

In a twitpic post by Japanese rumor blogger, IEEE802.11, a snapshot of what seemed to be a cover of a manga or book reveals that Tatsunoko Tarou’s light novel series has been greenlit for an anime version.

Tatsunoko’s LN, titled Mondai-Ji-tachi ga Isekai Kara Kuru Sō Desu yo? (Don’t Problem Children Come From an Alternate World? / 問題児たちが異世界から来るそうですよ?), tells the story of 3 problem children from another world tasked to defeat the devil.

According to ANN, the synopsis is as follows:

he stroy follows Izayoi Sakamaki, a boy bored with the entire world. One day, an envelope arrives for him. The moment Izayoi opens the envelope, he is transported to an alternate world. There, he discovers that two other “problem children” were transported by envelopes as well — a taciturn girl named Yō Kasukabe with a cat, and a beautiful yet haughty girl named Asuka Kudō. A girl named Kuro Usagi (Black Rabbit) summoned the three to the community “No Name” to overthrow the devil.

No further details announced.

Tatsunoko’s light novel began in April 2011, with Amano Yuu as the artist. Since then, the novel has released 5 volumes.
