Rumor Mill (November 2012): Major Event in PH this Q1 2013?

Nov 13, 2012

UPDATE: November 26, 2012
It looks like February 2013 is gearing up to be one of the busiest months of the year. The rumored event to grace the Philippines on the month of love is none other than the prestigious ANIME FESTIVAL ASIA – PHILIPPINES. The rumor apparently spread around in the previously-held AFA Singapore 2012 held just a few weeks ago. We’re still not getting any official word this time, so the rumor is still up in the air. Again, take this rumor with a grain of salt.

February is fast becoming an event-packed month, with a lot of top tier events showing up here and there. The question is: do we have enough money to attend all these conventions and events?

=====
This just in.

It looks like Manila will be having another major event coming 1st quarter next year. Aside from the previously-announced UP-AME 1UP (which we got first and exclusive dibs on the news), there’s another event gearing up on the month of February. And this one’s said to be big. We’re looking at “Japanese-guests-big” type of event. The rumors also suggest that an official announcement or teaser may come up at any time prior to 2012′s end. However, despite the alleged “sudden” announcement, the preparation might have taken place longer than that.

The type of event, the date, and other details will remain undisclosed for the time being, since this rumor floated around with no basis whatsoever. Take this rumor with a grain of salt. As of the moment, we have no means to confirm this rumor. We’ll just have to wait and see.
