Just a month shy of Rurouni Kenshin’s silverscreen premiere (December 5) in the Philippines, Japan will be getting the film’s DVD and Blu-Ray release at the end of the said month.
The Blu-Ray and DVD versions of Rurouni Kenshin will be released in Japan on December 26, 2012. There will be two editions: a standard and a limited edition version of the package. The limited edition comes in an awesome box, with a special digipack, a soundtrack, and a Rurouni Kenshin notebook. Other contents also include cast and staff commentary, TV spots, behind-the-scenes, and all the trailers included, plus One OK Rock’s MV of “The Beginning.”
Standard ed for Blu-ray and DVD are JPY3990 (US$50) and JPY2980 (US$37) respectively. Limited Blu-Ray and DVD editions will be priced at JPY6930 (US$86) and JPY5985 (US$75) respectively.
