Star Driver will be getting the film treatment early next year. The official website for the movie recently went live, and handed everyone meaty details regarding the upcoming film.
Star Driver The Movie will premiere on February 9, 2013, days shy of Valentines Day. The story will feature a new take on the lives of Takuto, Sugata, and Wako. Plus, their lives after the anime series will also be detailed in the movie. The movie’s first official art shows Takuto, Wako, and Sugata all donning elegant costumes in the motif of a Ginga Bishounen.
The staff and cast from the anime series are also returning to reprise their roles in the film.

To keep fans in the loop, a Blu-ray box of the anime series, and an OST collection will be released January 13, a month prior to the film’s premiere. The series will also re-air this coming October 4th at 0:00am (midnight) on the Tokyo MX channel.
