The Road to Asia Cosplay Meet: Event Details

It’s definitely big news for everyone here that the Japanese Visual Kei band SUG will be judging the top 10 cosplay finalists. The judging is made possible via live streaming, direct from Singapore Cosplay Club’s Japan Romance event. People attending the Japan Romance event in Singapore will be watching the judging as well. Their event itinerary emphasizes the Philippine leg of the Asia Cosplay Meet, so let’s make this count, people!

Ticket sales will begin by 11:00am, and gates will officially open at 12:00 noon. Opening ceremonies will be held 15 minutes after entry. At 1:00pm, the 37 contestants will be up on the ramp for the cosplay prelims. The announcement of the top 10 finalists will be at 3:30pm, and will do another ramp up for SUG’s judging at 4:00pm.

Three local bands will be performing on the said event: Himitsu Heiki, DouAhou and Onigiri Fusion.

Look for the Otakultura booth at the event! We’ll be directly beside Playground Magazine’s booth and just opposite Anime Alliance Philippine’s booth!
