Cosplay Mania’s Tournament of Champions Third Impact has begun its sweep of the country for the best cosplayers. June 30th marked Baguio’s Preliminary Leg for TORCH, and our Baguio correspondent, Curiouzkatt gave us a few snapshots and the list of winners.
Runner-up winners are:
Antonio Gomez and Angelo Joaquin Espiritu, cosplaying as Cloud Strife and Sephiroth, for their Final Fantasy VII skit.
And the Baguio TORCH Preliminary Leg Winners are:
Rodney Arreola and Clar Panganiban cosplaying as Siegfried and Maki from Soul Calibur.
Arreola and Panganiban are members of a Baguio-based cosplay group called Otageki. Under their cosplay resume, the two were already previous winners from past TORCH preliminaries. Panganiban won with a different partner in the 1st TORCH Baguio Prelims in Cosplay Mania X. Arreola won with another partner in the 2nd TORCH Baguio Prelims of Cosplay Mania XI.
